A team of five from Christ Healing Center in San Antonio, Texas and the Order of St. Luke the Physician went to Johannesburg, South Africa in early July and were completely blown away by what the Lord Jesus birthed and how powerfully He moved in our midst in that city!
The Glory of the Lord went before us, sustained us with supernatural grace, and brought us to an actual experience of the cloud of God’s Glory on the last night of our Healing Conference. We are so indebted to Pastor Peter Defin and his family at the Acts Church in what has come to be known to us as Jo-burg. Peter is the Great, great, great Grandson of Smith Wigglesworth. Wigglesworth was one of the greatest healing ministers Great Britain ever saw. We will never be the same again, for I believe that we carried home with us a very large inheritance from the Healing Revival Wigglesworth fostered in the early to mid-1900’s.
We are now in a covenant relationship with the Acts Church for a Healing House for the city of Joburg. We also now have an Order of St. Luke presence there in that place. The twenty or so healing ministers in the Healing House will study the basic materials of the OSL. Members are joining the Order. It is very exciting. Never have I seen such hungry hearts for the power of the Gospel being attended to by signs, wonders, healing and miracles.
Rosalind Hervey, one of our team members, received a Word from the Lord before we left, and that Word is Confluence. It means the merging to two rivers together. Truly, the powerful Presence of God in that Church and the river of our experience met and joined for an explosion of demonstration. From the first day of our arrival, God began to touch and heal people. Reports kept getting back to Pastor Peter that this one was touched, that one was healed, and more and more wanted to join in and get prayer. Examples of testimonies include a man who had a stroke whom when hands were laid on him, the entire right side of his drooping face firmed up and became normal. He said that power was surging through his head, neck and upper torso. He was released THAT DAY from the hospital and was able to attend our Conference. A young woman in torment from months of dizziness, headaches, nausea and weight loss was completely set free in one prayer session. A man with a paralyzed, dead arm with tremendous shoulder pain was instantly, miraculously healed right before our eyes. It just went on and on! We literally cannot remember, or recount all that the Lord Jesus did during the two weeks there.
I report on this major life-changing event for me and our team because it is indicative of where we are in the Kingdom realm in this hour of the Church in the world. I want to see us lift up our eyes to the Lord, from whom our strength comes, and to set our faces like flint to see this power released into the nations. It is a NEW DAY! The Order of St. Luke is one of the greatest instruments of healing and freedom ever, and we are being sent into all our world. America desperately needs healing right now. We truly are International and God’s glory is going before us, sustaining us with His immeasurable strength, and pouring into us His Glorious Presence and grace to get the job done for His Honor.
